The well known HZ chess tournament will again take place in the beautiful, spacious Atrium of the HZ University of Applied Sciences in Vlissingen. Most rounds will be played in the evening and Vlissingen is the city with on average the most hours of sunshine in the Netherlands. In ideal opportunity to combine playing a chess tournament with enjoying a (beach) holiday in Zeeland!

Just like in previous years the set-up will be one large group of appr. 250 players, so that the club player has the chance to play against an International Master or Grandmaster and ambitious players have the opportunity to achieve title norms.

You can register by mail. Entry fee is € 90.

Results will be forwarded to the FIDE and the KNSB for rating calculation purposes.

For the time being the maximum number of participants is set at 255.
