IM T. Henrichs (2475) stunned by A. Rosmuller (2091) in 2nd round of HZ open 2011

In the second round of the HZ tournament some of our eastern neighbors suffered damage. International Master Ilya Zaragatski lost to Willemsma Abe surprisingly, but the defeat of his countryman Thomas Henrichs was still quite spectacular.

Internationaal Meester International Master Thomas Henrichs (2475), who shared last year winner of the tournament, was surprised by the experienced Anton Rosmüller (2091), the chess player from Utrecht, played his own veriation of the Grünfeld-Indian. Soon did some pieces on the queenside which Henrichs no longer need and Rosmüller shifted the battlefield to the kingside. Just seemed to attack the shores of a magnificent horse sacrifice was finally hauled the loot (see diagram).
